In the summer of 2008 I was driving north on 32 just north of New Paltz, New York in the very early hours just before dawn when I saw flashing lights up ahead by the side of the road. I slowed down thinking it was an accident and emergency response was on site with their lights flashing. When I got closer I saw that this was in fact what I right away realized an alien space ship, a UFO. It was right there in the field.
Right when I was alongside it my car died unexplainably.

This really freaked me out. I thought they were coming to get me. I reached for my phone but it was dead too just like the car. I was thinking about running away

but I figured my best bet was to lock the doors and hope someone else comes driving down the road soon.
I quickly locked the doors and hid in the back seat. After about a minute of absolute terror I heard a swishing sound. I looked up and the spaceship was gone. My car started up again and I drove away. In retrospect I should have gotten out to investigate the landing site but I was just too scared and not thinking straight. You never know how you're going to react to something
