I was down at the beach in Pascagoula one evening this past summer with my girlfriend and we saw a light come out of the sea. It was a bit after sunset but there were still people around. I looked around if anyone else was seeing this but no one seemed to have noticed. We didn't want to miss this so we kept watching. The light rose out of the sea and remained hovering over the water. It was large but not very bright. It was a bit like a huge illuminated sphere about 20 feet

across. After a few seconds of hovering that way it took off straight out to sea. Not very fast, about the speed of a car on the road. We watched it until it was

gone.
