I grew up on the family farm 15 miles outside of Davenport, Iowa. In 1978 I was in high school and everything was very normal and ordinary for me and my family until one night when we were paid a visit by a UFO.
I was the one who noticed it. I woke up at around 3 in the morning because I heard sounds from the back yard. My window faced the backyard so I heard everything that was going on out there. I just figured it was some animal. I looked out and saw that there was a UFO that

had landed in our back yard. I got so scared a damn near lost control of my bodily retentive functions.
I ran to my parents' room to wake my dad. I told him

get the gun there are aliens in the backyard. Well you can imagine his reaction being woken up at 3 am by his idiot son claiming the presence of space travelers in the backyard.
He told me it was a nightmare and go back to sleep. But of course I insisted so he came to my room to look out the window. At that point my father damn near lost control of his bodily retentive functions...
He took me back to his and mom's bedroom which was right next to my little brother's room
