I was at the trailer park in Schuyler while on the job. I looked up to the sky and saw what appeared to be the moon as it sometimes appears when visible during the day. It was that big and that prominent. I didn't even give it a thought. That is precisely what I thought it to be.
Suddenly, it just shot straight up, with such velocity that it disappeared within a few seconds. I tried to get my coworker to look up, out of reaction. It was already gone when I called to him. Something

THAT BIG and THAT PROMINENT!! GONE!!! Within a few seconds!!! This event occurred in 1978.
