In the 1950s several people reported seeing a UFO in the sky here. It was covered up very successfully. Any information coming on to the press was intercepted and the source would be intimidated into silence. Sounds crazy but it's absolutely true. Maybe they were aliens, maybe they were secret air force tests? I heard this from my late grandfather who was one of the witnesses. I tried to search for info but there's nothing as far as I know. I wonder how many of these cover-ups

have occurred over the years?

These cover-ups are much more common than people realize. There's probably hundreds of them.

Interesting because when I was around 8 or 9 in 1956 or 57 in the summer, I looked out my window (Ludlow, Ma. looking toward Indian Orchard) and saw a large black object with a flickering blue/white light go down behind the trees...It was very late at night and I could see it because of the glow on the horizon maybe from Indian Orchard. I heard that the Ludlow police saw the same thing very late that night but could never find that in the papers (years later) because I couldn't remember the exact year and date.
