I used to live in the Los Angeles National Forest. My Doberman woke me up in the middle of the night barking and I thought he had to go out. My husband was asleep and I wrapped myself up in a blanket and took my dog out side. He was running around barking and I was afraid that he might run off.
I looked up on the hillside, about 100 yards away, and there was a bright light gleaming toward me. It was almost like a headlight from a car..... But one beam and floated in the

air. I was alarmed, grabbed my dog, and went back inside. I was not afraid... It was just strange and not in congress to the usual surroundings.
