I was riding my bike on the bike path by S. 35th Street this past spring. It was around 9:30 pm. As I turned from Cortez Boulevard to S. 35th. I saw what looked like a moving light over by the big pond.
It was lowering itself and then shot up again, and it was doing that for maybe 5 minutes. I had stopped riding and was just observing this object. There were no cars at that time, but there was another rider behind me.
He asked me if everything was OK. I told him to look

at the weird object. He was scared and told to leave because we don't know what it was. I told him I wasn't scared, and I would like to keep checking it out.
After

that guy left I saw that the object was spitting out this red spark. It then flew up into the sky until it was so small, and I couldn't see it any more. I still ride my bike almost everyday on that route, but I haven't seen anything like that since.
