Locations > Mississippi > Gulfport > Lights Categories > Lights Lights UFO Sighting from Gulfport, Mississippi July 2015   In the summer of this year a group of five friends and I saw a strange flashing flying object appear at the railroad crossing on Cowan Road. It was almost midnight. We were heading toward the beach and one of my friends noticed the flying object. We all saw it. It looked just like a star to us but it was not a star. The circular light was about 700 to 800 yards up in the sky above us. The light we saw flashing was orange and was flashing really fast. The object was moving erratically     southward. Since there were no other cars on the road we sped up trying to catch up with it.
