I can't tell you all how much I've been ridiculed for going public regarding my abduction experiences in the early 1980s. I was abducted by aliens that looked like the picture my son made on a computer based on sketches and descriptions by me. I think it very accurately shows what they looked like.
I think if I knew then what I know now I would have kept it all to myself. Being open about this has hurt me both socially and professionally. Once you go public you will never again

be taken seriously, no matter how serious a person you happen to be.
Alien abductions are real and probably much more common than people think. There is no incentive

to go public, and a million reasons to keep it to yourself. If you are a victim, find other victims, and talk to them only about you experiences or tell people anonymously online. This needs to be heard; I just don't see why we as victims should be punished for this.
