I was a young teen. A friend and I decided to sleep out in my backyard in sleeping bags as it was summer. Where we decided to lie down was in direct view of Ben Lomond peak. Back then there was not much light pollution as we lived in the rural Pleasant View area. We had a perfect clear night, and stars were clear and bright. As we lay under the stars talking about random things, we noticed over Ben Lomond peak that random white lights started to gather around the tip of the

mountain. Then more and more continued to appear, each rushing into the group from seemingly out of no where. There were dozens. They started whirling around randomly
|
at first.
Then they started flashing and changing colors. Then their pattern began taking the shape of multiple round rings. The rings were composed of six to eight lights. The circles started to spin. Then two circles would join and spin within each other, like a magician with two metal rings that joined, flashing colors all the while. They went faster and faster.
Then as if they all were on the same signal they all just stopped. There was no spinning or flashing.
