It was about midnight, and a group of friends and I were camping at Otter Lake. A few of us went to the bathroom which was a walk away from the campsite, and on the way back we decided to stop and watch the stars. We noticed a large (hold a small peanut at arms length and that's the approximate size) solid orange light moving south across the sky from lake superior. It wasn't moving very quickly, and it wasn't terribly far away like an airplane.

we noticed no noise was emitting from it. We ended up hearing airplanes flying that night just after, and the airplanes were much higher which told us that whatever

this was was quiet. The strangest part of what we saw was that as it moved across the sky, a large light came off of it and made a hard u-shape that went west quickly, dimmed out, and disappeared. We had no clue what it was, but it was not a plane, and it was far too large and quiet to be a drone.
